For 2011 I am racing for the Sunn Montgenvre team along with top British rider, Sam dale and top French rider, Julien Camellini.

I always try my hardest in training and at Races for my sponsors, my Coach Chris Ball and everyone at the Scottish Institute of Sport. I'm always grateful for all their help - many thanks!

BDS National Champs

Unfortunatly I didn't come home with any gold this weekend! I was third in qaulis with a bad run so I was going for it in the race, I ran of track at the start of the top straight, losing all my momentum I then pedalled as hard a possible to get up to speed before the split, the mistake had been very costly! still up on the split at the point though, I pinned the track after that and had a big crash as I landed of the jump into the Finish arena field on a 2.13, the pedal took 6 seconds so I was on for a 2.19, 2nd place. In the end I ended up in 9th. not what was planned but I learned some very valuable stuff coming into the next races! Cheers Si, Dave and british cycling for the event! JC

Killin Scottish Championships

I just got back from the Scottish Championships with the winners jersey and the cup! I manged to salvage a pretty big mistake up top on the track to take the win! scottish Champion. Cheers to Peter Pollock and all the SDA crew for running the event! JC

kill the bill win!

I just won the Kill the Bill race at Fort William. I won my juinior catergory by 3 seconds over Lapierre's Sam Flockhart. I also got the fastest time of the day. Thanks to all the marshals and Mike Marsden for putting on the event! JC

Llangollen BDS Win!

Happy to take a great result by winning the fourth round of the BDS Series! I manged to win both qaulifying and the final by 3 seconds! Cheers to Si, Dave and all the marshals! JC

Season Finished!

The 2010 season has come to an end. I ended up 2nd overall in the British National Series and the Scottish National series which gives me great motivation for next year as I want to do one better!

Time for a little rest from the bike then straight back into the training for the 2011 Season.

A huge thanks to Matt in Alpinebikes in Innerleithen for giving me a ride for this season and for the great constant support from him and all the other guys in the shop. if it wasn't for him keeping my bike running great I wouldn't have got the results I did.

Back to Back Wins!

In the last two weeks i have won both the 4th round of the British National Series in Wales and the fourth round of the Scottish National Series at Ae forest!

I got the Leatt GPX Club neck brace for christmas and it's sick! just tried it out in the snow up the woods. A bit sketchy in the snow but still fun! can't wait to get out and use the Leatt again!
